Membership Privacy Notice

Rapbizz Direct Company Limited (the "Company") wishes to inform you of the Membership Privacy Notice (the "Notice") as a member (the "Member"), so that the Member shall acknowledge the terms and conditions for the processing of the Member’s personal data that the Company has a necessity to process. 

By applying for membership with JSSR Auction Company Limited, the Company shall deem that the Member has accepted the Notice. The Company reserves the right to amend this Notice from time to time in order to ensure compliance with the applicable laws and to be in accordance with the Member’s privileges announced by the Company. The Company shall notify the Member of such an amendment via the Company’s communication channels. 

Personal Data of Member Being Processed

The Company wishes to inform the Member that the Company needs to collect, compile, use, and process the following personal data of the Member: (1) full name, address, date of birth, and identification document of the member who is an individual or of the authorized directors of the member who is a juristic person, such as an identification card, as well as contact information such as phone number and email; (2) upon completion of the membership application, the Company shall stipulate a membership number as a member identifier; (3) transaction information of the member with the Company to maintain membership status, (4) other personal data which the Member may additionally send to the Company while membership status is active, including but not limited to all information provided on the form to exercise other Member’s rights. 

Purpose for Personal Data Processing

The Company shall collect, use, process, and retain the personal data of the Member for the following purposes: (1) to verify the membership eligibility according to the Company’s membership conditions, to affirm membership rights and provide privileges according to tier and membership conditions, including to inform the Member of membership privilege news announced by the Company (2) to build and improve the business relationship between the Member and the Company, which may include satisfaction assessment in membership being, and manage about the Member complaint or comment; provided that the Company ensures to operate such actions as necessary without affecting the Member’s rights, and (3) in the case that the Member gives the specific consent, the Company shall use the Member’s contact information to inform the Member of other news besides the direct privilege news. 

Retention Period

The Company shall collect the Member's personal data for as long as necessary to serve the defined purposes during the membership period and to facilitate rejoined membership. The Company reserves the right to keep the member's personal information for up to one year after the membership is terminated. For the data processing with consent, the Company shall keep such data until the Member withdraws the consent. 

Disclosure of Member’s Personal Data  

Generally, the Company will not disclose the personal data to any third party, except in case of necessity where the Company may need to disclose and/or share the personal data with the following persons: (i) third-party service provider hired by the Company to provide the privilege for the Member or to do general operation; (ii) relevant government authorities, which the Company has legal obligations or is subject to orders of such government authorities to disclose the personal data to. The Company commits to only disclose and share the Member’s personal data on the necessary and need-to-know basis. 

Information Security Measures to Protect Personal Data and Data Subject’s Rights Over Their Personal Data

The Company commits to implementing the appropriate information security measures to prevent unauthorized access, use, modification, or disclosure of the Member's personal data and to periodically reviewing the information security measures to ensure compliance with best industry practices and applicable laws. The Company respects the Member’s statutory rights as the data subject under the applicable laws over the relevant Member’s personal data, including in particular the following rights: (1) the right to request for access or copy of their personal data (2) the right to request data portability; (3) the right to object to any processing of their personal data; (4) the right to request for deletion or de-identification of the Member’s personal data once there is no further necessity; (5) the right to request for the suspension of the Member’s personal data; or (6) the right to withdraw consent.
